David has been providing independent advice for mortgages and insurance since 2003. Prior to that he used to look after a team of mortgage advisers for a major High Street bank.
There are not many scenarios that David has not dealt with and has a wealth of experience in organising mortgage and insurance for clients.
After gaining much experience working in banking in Edinburgh since 1985, George moved to Glasgow to get married and then set up Mortgage Advice Brokerage in 2001.
He has arranged thousands of Mortgages and Insurance Policies for his clients in this time – his long experience and the use of modern technology are what keep customers returning for his friendly and trusted advice.
Evan loves helping people find a way to finance their new home even when others have told them it won’t work. With his background in estate agency, he also does everything he can to make sure his clients are getting the home they want at a fair price.
He still celebrates every time a client’s mortgage is approved, and enjoys catching up with existing clients whenever they get in touch.
With a background in the Oil & Gas Industry, Dave took a different path into the world of Mortgages and Insurance.
After building his Buy-to-Let Portfolio using Mortgage Advice Brokerage, he found that this experience led to his friends and colleagues asking for his help – enjoying this so much he decided on a complete career change.
He can help all types of client, but has particular expertise in helping Contractors.
After a successful career in menswear, Richard decided on a complete change of course, and joined the Insurance Industry. He soon realised that it was much more fun helping people to buy properties, and moved into the mortgage market.
He specialises in both residential and buy to let mortgages, along with the necessary insurance products to provide clients with a complete service. His motto is “you find the house, I’ll get you in there”.
With over 16 years experience, Dave is our specialist protection adviser and resident expert on all types Insurance – for both You and your Home.
Based in our Dunblane Office, he also looks after our Clients in Glasgow and across the UK.
Dave has extensive knowledge of what is and is not acceptable to insurers and has arranged thousands of policies over the last 16 years or so for clients with the most complex of medical histories. He is an expert in his field when looking at life assurance, income protection, critical illness and home insurance.
Elaine joined the Mortgage Advice Brokerage team in the summer of 2015 and has been a valuable addition to the team. She is in charge of processing mortgage applications and liaising with lenders for the timely turnaround of applications that have been submitted. The chances are it will be Elaine you’ll speak to when you make a call into the office. Away from work, she is kept active chasing after Scruff, her Patterdale Terrier.
Kim has been working in the mortgage industry for the last 17 years as a mortgage administrator / case manager. She joined the Mortgage Advice Brokerage team in May 2018, as Case Manager to David Rolleston. She is in charge of processing mortgage applications and liaising with lenders for the timely turnaround of applications that have been submitted, keeping clients updated on the progress of their applications and contacting solicitors for timely updates.
Away from work Kim enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends. Eating out at different restaurants and trying different types of food on the menu. Working out and going for long walks around some of the beautiful walking trails around Glasgow.
Mark joined Mortgage Advice Brokerage in June 2024 having spent the previous 10 months providing mortgage advice within an estate agency. Prior to that Mark had a long career with NatWest/RBS where he worked both as a Senior Mortgage Advisor and Mortgage Underwriter. He understands what good customer service looks like and also has the benefit of knowing what underwriters look for when assessing mortgage applications.
Outside of work Mark can be found spending time with his family and coaching the local junior football team.
